matt, that's a good point. What I use (if it should come down to it) is references from people who have adopted from me. I had one person, who when she came to get a couple of animals, gave me $20 rather than the $5 adoption fee when she saw the care that I took of the animals and in the breeding... they're definitely worth more than $5, but it's not about the money.
richorlin, I don't think that'll make any difference ... some Craigslisters find out you're breeding, and they go haywire.
Panopticon may have a point. I doubt it's PETA-types, but it may very well be pet store people... I know for a fact that they patrol the board, because any time someone puts up a post badmouthing Petsmart, they immediately pipe up about how great Petsmart is, how well they take care of the animals, etc.
