The indictment does not say that any money is missing or that Mr. Krolicki profited or benefited, but charges that he did not provide the required accounting trail for large sums and destroyed documents related to the handling of the money. wrote:

of course you meant Senator Harry M. Reid...

Even a junior DA can get a grand jury to indict, and an indictment is not a conviction, so Lt. Gov. Krolicki is presumed innocent for the moment.

My vowel centric dyslexia doesn't make Reid more competent. He and Pelosi may well be be the undoing of this administration.
