500GB drives were affected as well.
I ordered two when the price was $89.99 for my NAS RAID and ordered two more this morning for my eSATA RAID. Now I will have two 500GB hard drives to sell on CL. The first two that came already had the upgraded firmware on them. They were packaged in boxes that were too wide for the foam drive insert to keep the drives from moving. Just a heads up.

Any cheap ones? Define cheap; but I think the answer is NO. eBay is your best better if you want one for under $50.

This one should work well: FirmTek SeriTek/1S2 Here are the cards OWC sells: I have a Serial ATA card in my old Sawtooth; it's either that Sonnet or that Firmtek. If you want to hook up more than 2 drives, you'll needa different card, obviously.

Really?
Only one drive per SATA connector? |
