I've got this bike that I'd like to sell, and some questions...

That looks just like the one my sister had in 1970 that was stolen at the Mall .
She had a good bike lock, so they unbolted the bike rack from the concrete sidewalk and took it all.
She'd go 14 miles to the beach and then back on a Saturday without a second thought.
I think of "beach bikes" as having much larger baloon tires than that.

:-)

If I have a similar red three speed from the same time period hanging in the garage I should clean it up ?
(will check out those links later)

When I have a curiosity about an old item value, I look for a couple of items on eBay that are same or similar and put them on "Watch" to see how much they go for. I did this for my old Pioneer receiver in the garage. I was going to ewaste it since I never use it. Found out it is worth up to $100 or more if in good working condition on eBay. Parts are even sold separately if the unit is bad (switches, internal components, etc.).

Go look for the Schwinn on eBay, see what you find.

Correct-- this one would have just been called a "touring" bike.
The seat being all the way down makes it look like a cruiser or kid's bike a bit though.

It's a 5 speed Schwinn Collegiate, Campus Green, late 60s / early 70s.

In the early 70s while in High School I worked in a Schwinn bike shop, don't remember what those sold for at the time, they were less popular than the 10-speed Varsity, which I recall selling for $69 at that time.
