Recessed Fixtures (or Receptables)

Just type "recessed receptacles" or "recessed outlets" into that box at the top right of your browser and press the "enter" key and you'll find lots of places to buy them. Oh, and just type "google" into google and I'm sure you'll figure that out too.

you mean I can buy stuff in my browser?

Why yes you can. Just click on the pictures with the $ signs next to them and then do a couple of more clicks and type your credit card number in.

You could only get the receptacles through your browser if you have a CRT. Most LCDs limit you to very thin merchandise.

Are you sure? a friend of mine ordered a full-figure bride on his laptop (with LCD display)

If space-time had googled this instead of posting here, I wouldn't have seen this. I kind of appreciate learning that such a recessed receptacle thingy exists, so asking him to bypass the forum is a disservice to users like me. Instead, I'd be reading about Halloween Twizzlers or some other topic that I don't give a flying fig about.

Then again, Davester IS the one who posted the pic. I'll need some time to think about whether his comment is helpful or not.

Unfortunately, many people post equally inane posts about halloween twizzlers...you just got lucky this time. I don't want to unload on space-time in particular, but my rule is that if I can instantly answer the question by typing two words into google then I won't post it because I would be clogging up the forum with useless junk by asking such questions. There is far too much junk in the forums that make it difficult to find discussions of interest IMHO. I vote to nix the stuff that google can answer instantaneously.

I vaguely recall another forum that tried to ban "useless junk".

Perhaps you should rethink that, sometimes figuring out the right two words to type into google is the hard part. The wrong ones can get you a lot of links, but to nothing that answers the actual need. Worst is trying to recreate a search several days later, where in previous trials of search terms you stumbled across something you would find useful now.
