Just got an email from an Oprah show producer -
"I regret to announce that there has been a format change for Wednesdays live show and we will not be able to feature The Cutest Dog competition as part of the program. Because it is a live show, content frequently changes. And sadly, we were afraid that we just wouldn't be able to give all the finalists and semi finalists the appropriate time and space we would need for a show of this nature. Thanks to all of you for submitting such great photos and videos. I am keeping everything on file, in case we are able to feature or profile the semi-finalists at a later date. Best wishes to all of you and I wish all of you the best luck with the competition."

Ah, they got everyone all riled up and then pulled the rug out from underneath! TV show or not, Kikka is leaving the competition in dust

From the contest site -
Congratulations to each of the semi-finalists. The judges will vote based on the information they have in hand. There is no need to continue to influence their vote. Their choices for the four finalists will be published on the site November 12th per the contest rules. The $1,000,000 Grand Prize winner will be announced on Thanksgiving Day. Thank god! Now all I ask of you fine folks is for your best wishes for Kikka, my lovely German Shepherd! So glad that I can get back to my normal life, since this is all out of my hands, and rests with the judges now. |
