I missed your first post as well. The situation you describe is never easy for kids and sometimes parents as well. You still have some time left, even if very brief. When I hear of these situations I always hope folks can somehow find some connection and establish some resolution while there is still time. The sad thing is when someone wants it but another doesn't.

I lost my dad when I was 71/2 and I loved him and looked up to him a lot. One minute he was there and the next he was gone - no time for words, goodbyes or anything. I hope you all can find peace and closure. Good luck!

Sorry for your loss, Jim, and for all the conflicting feelings for you and terrible grief for your sister. I hope you and all your family will have healing and wholeness.
