No Vesa mount, and I'm not sure my mini would be interested in driving it.

I bet the mini would drive it, but I don't know for certain and besides, that's a waste of an iMac.
A computer monitor makes a better viewing device because of the greater pixel density compared to any (or most) TV sets. More, smaller pixels than that of a TV set.
