Do You Do The Double Honk When Driving Away After Visiting Friends?
#21
I've done It before but not everytime. Not sure where I picked it up. As said by others, just a quick tap not the full blast.

Depends on whether the bike I'm riding has a horn or a bell.

What's annoying is people saying their goodbyes in the middle of the street. That garuntees one long honk emanating from my vehicle.

It must be pretty damn quiet where you guys live that a half honk on a car horn disturbs you?

Yes, it is! I loves me peace and quiet!!

My main complaint, and it's not really that big of a bother, is that the mail lady does the double honk if she has a package that won't fit in the mailbox. She will drive up to the house and deliver it personally. I like that, and I rush out of my chair to meet her at the door, as I don't want to hold her up. I've been getting a lot of false alarms lately.

So no one knows why or how this thing got started?
