People murder, hand guns kill. People have accidents, hand guns kill. People commit suicide, hand guns kill.

Hmh. This school is no more than three miles from where I sit typing this. It's not the best school, but certainly not the worst LAUSD has to offer. My stepson played many games there (as visitor) during his Pop Warner football career.

I grew up around there on 122nd Street between Normandie and Western. I went to Washington High but could have chosen Gardena.

You've mentioned Gardena before - your mom still lives there, right?

The company I work for now installed the LAN and structured cabling at Gardena HS back in 2005. I worked at LAUSD then and was involved with the project from the District's end.

I think we can all agree that guns have NO place in schools.

What about the people who claim the VA Tech shooter would have been stopped had the students been packing?

Yeah, HS vs. college, but I'm sure you could get the NRA to back a "Guns for Tots" campaign.
