USPS - tape stamps (backless self-stick stamps)

As Zoidberg noted, the confusion on this was caused by out-dated and/or inaccurate advertising on the packaging. I cited several other examples of this happening, and how the issue seems to be getting more frequent.
You turned it into a rant.
USPS did try the backless stamp for awhile in certain test markets, it didn't work out as they had planned, they withdrew it.
Should they have spent millions scrubbing all references to these stamps?
Also, I have lived in California for over three decades, I have traveled north, and south, and I have never seen an "Undercarriage Wash" even offered. Now Illinois on the other hand, I saw that advertised at almost every car wash.

If you want to take it that way, that's your choice. I was simply expressing similar experiences of confusion based on inaccurate packaging details.

Millions eh?

I saw it offered at a Chevron in Sonoma, no idea if they had it. I know many car washes in COS offer it.
