The only thing I can say bad about them is that they don't even come close (I'm not talking $20 or so) to what I pay for Mercury Insurance. I was pretty disappointed, thinking I'd be able to lop off a good chunk of change from what I currently pay.
The insurance companies have certainly made money off of me over the years. It's such a rip off.

I had a policy with them 6-7 years ago. They gave me a great rate at first, but after several increases over the following year (no incidents), I was paying about the same as my previous insurance company. I now have my insurance with Hartford. I also wonder how they can spend so much on advertising.

Of course, the bottom line is how well your insurance company treats you when you have an accident (and afterwards, e.g. rate increases).
Isn't it difficult it is to compare policies from company to company without an attorney to read all the fine print?

Try Amica, they are known for having extremely good rates and excellent service.
