I grew up as a kid learning to play guitar by learning Beatles songs and songs of other artists in the 60s. Seeing this video of Paul doing For No One the other day http://youtu.be/uXSlacCyN50 got me thinking I'd like to relearn similar Beatles songs for fun and remembering a couple of great fake books I had back then. One was the Sgt Pepper song book from 1967 and later a white covered fake book of all their songs from the 70s. What I remember was how good the guitar chords were in those books. Many other sheet music versions in those times had chords that were quite off.
I've found the Sgt Peppers book on eBay but would like to find something with all their tunes and with very accurate chord diagrams and key signatures. I've looked at The Beatles Complete Chord Book: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0634022...PDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=0WCJ0PVKTP3EXJDKZD4J&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200422&pf_rd_i=507846
Which looks pretty good but I'd prefer more of a simple lead sheet/fake book type of transcription.
Do any guitarists here have anything they really like that and fits that bill?
TIA
