I have enjoyed most of the series, tho I agree it had far more potential than they explored in the plotlines they used.
I thought it was always the show that the TV execs spent FAR too much time messing with.

Cable execs don't know what to do with their success stories.
E.g. "The Walking Dead" "yeah it's our top-rated show, so let's cut the budget by 2/3 next season."

Eureka had the same problems as Warehouse 13, and add to that the same story repeated over and over again with the same resolution in practically every episode. I think the people who enjoyed it after the first season were watching primarily because of the sense of familiarity and lack of stressful suspense. But turning off your brain for an hour isn't healthy. That show went on for several seasons too long. |
