elmo: how would you like me to send you my info? Should I scan my 2 licenses and 2 credentials in psych? Email them? Perhaps a link to my license verification on the BBS?

I'm sorry, but you are outgunned here. You have proven my point: character disorder....you are truly sad.. kiva You haven't proven anything, other than you can blow hard with people like BGnR. You're as full of $hit as he is, if not more. If you have any credentials, AND you think you can evaluate people by the limited interaction you have with them on a board like this, your state licensing board should be notified so they can take your license away. You'd be a dangerous nut case. But since you have no credentials and you're not licensed, it's a moot point.

Would you like some references? Actually, any therapist worth their salt can tell all they need to know within about 5 minutes. The details may be different for each person, but there are only a few variations on the core issues. I've had plenty of exposure to you to make a pretty good guess...the thing is, by definition, you can't understand any of this. Your problems are egosyntonic. That is, you don't know you have them and, actually, you think *everybody else* has the issues - not you. You see your obviously objectionable behavior as without fault. That is the core of a character disorder. I leave open the possibility that you're just an extra big a-hole on an internet forum because your shame-filled inner self doesn't have to withstand the scrutiny of an actual human interaction with people you treat like crap - a situation in which you would either crumble or attempt to cause violence. Hence, you may be a bit different in person - not much, but, perhaps, just "elmo lite". However, i'm leaning toward character disorder.. Of course, you aren't even aware of your own need to control others Your original posting to this thread is an attempt to control others and brush away any reminder of the parts of you that you loathe. How Jerry comes upon his information is of no concern to you. You may try to create some rationalization as to why you've made it your business - but they're futile, at bet. You could have skipped the thread, but you didn't. You just had to engage. You had to see what you perceived as Jerry's ignorance and shame it and sweep it away. In doing so, you are advertising to the whole world how you treat yourself when you make mistakes. It's called the shadow. Jung wrote about it. Read up a little. Oh, but everybody else has the problem. Nobody has anything worthwhile to say but you. What a strange world to live in. I thank you for the practice...I do this quite infrequently, but sometimes, it just needs to be done. At least, now, you know that we *all* know.
