I'm looking at this too...
So far, about the best I've found is the Costco deal. $99 for a full size, 2.5" thickness, 4lb weight. That's good, but not great-- they recommend the following guidelines: 2" thickness for stomach or back sleepers 3" thickness for side sleepers 4" thickness for heavier people, or people who need extra support Pound densities: 3 lb density is considered generally substandard 4 lb density is a good compromise between price and quality 5 lb density is best, but is the priciest ... so, what I'd like is a 3" thickness with 5lb weight, but those tend to be more expensive...

"they recommend..."
they who? btw, on one site i found that is for people looking for relief from injuries, the site author said s/he spoke with the Novafoam people and those folks said the one Costco carries is a different (and better) model than the ones at Linen & Things and Bed,Bath, Beyond even though they look the same. i think they meant the very basic model, not the down covered one. i think i'm going to try the Costco one. gotta love that return policy.

Got my parents the Costco mattress pad. Not quite the same as my full Tempur Pedic mattress, but they like it very much.
