how is BB for retrieval? I'd never need to retrieve the whole lot at once.
Most are 35G or under. Only one is large 265G.
Are the servers just in California or all over?
My bandwidth with them is 100D/90U in the US.
Their estimate is a day for 1TB
Way slower on the C EU.
Still rather appealing.

my CCC is automated. Theres a scheduler in the the app.
I use the scheduler for the personal important stuff and start drive.
Work files, I have obviously failed that course.
Tres is EU, but they are just for fi stuff, small enough for free.
But BB would certainly cover my needs entirely.
So much for paying attention to technology.

but back to drives. Still need additional space for my Emby media server. Tons of music and film.

go with bigger for future proofing since you say you have more to rip?
You could stop ripping music and subscribe to spotify. They have 10000X more music than u, already ripped. You can download it anytime.
Not sure why you (or anyone) wouldnt just have CCC do everything.
My initial BB backup, via 10 MB/s upload took 2 months. Pretty sure BB has servers in the EU, you should check their website.

Would you get 2x 2TB or the 1 4TB?
I'm not help here.
I'd say get 2 x 4T drives.
But then I'm looking for a <$200 shipped 12T drive.
Typically I by W-D externals and shuck the drives.

You gotsta know its far far more complicated than that.
But you are correct, spotify does pay musicians nada -- they pay musicians labels/distributors/publishers/etc -- who then pay musicians.
And even that is complicated... pay for Spotify.
