Hi everyone,

Just a reminder. Many of the methods of screensharing recommended here, i.e. via Messages and Zoom, require someone to actively be on the remote computer to accept the request to share the screen. TeamViewer, Screens, AnyDesk and other screensharing tools don't necessarily require this. They can be configured to allow you to jump into a remote computer without someone actively using it and/or accepting the screen share. For me (and others), it's a critical feature.

I believe you can do it with the Mac OS's screen sharing feature but it takes some configuration of both the computer and the router on the home/office network. I tried it and was never successful in getting it to work properly. That's why I switched to tools like TeamViewer.
