"Schadenfreude", literal translation, "Malicious Joy".

Schadenfreude is an excellent and useful term, with no good equivalent in English. "Malicious joy" is not a literal rendering.

what is the German term for "complete sadness?" As in, after reading the responses to this thread, I am in complete sadness as most of the posts were off topic, uninformed, and completely idiotic.
