When my father was in the final stages of his hospice, I knew he was gone, but his body would shake and struggle.

When everyone else just watched, I sat on his bed, held his hands and said:
<<descanse, papito, descance. Tu esposa te espera>>
(Rest Daddy, Rest. Your wife is waiting for you)

I truly hope someone was there for him in his last moments.
