Everybody is different. People got mad when Barack Obama laughed with Trump at Carter's funeral. But to ever expect Obama to be dickish to someone is kinda dumb. He wasn't raised that way. He always toned down with Putin. But he wasn't rude to him.
So, when you have different responses to events, it creates exactly this, yet another way to put down Democrats. I think people should flush their expectations regarding behaviors and focus more on actual resistance measures. Give full credit to those brave enough to express it. Don't taint it by creating an unnecessary division amongst the ranks.
Republicans achieve their lockstep loyalty from bullying members into compliance or else. I want people to "want" to do what they do. If they don't, that's alright. Their legislative votes are 100% more crucial. I'll judge you there. That's why they are there in the first place.
