Optimum modem problems

For the past month, I have to reboot the Optimum modem at least once a day. They cannot figure what is wrong except that they cannot see the modem at their end once I lose the signal until I reboot it.

I have already replaced the modem once, with no effect. It (their modem/router) is connected to their cable on one end and on the other I have my MESH set up as APs on the LAN side, as well as a MoCA adapter. I looked both in and out of the house, it does not seem like there are any loose connections. Any ideas?

This is a wild guess but its probably a line signal problem and they simply need to get better techs to look at it.

Agreed - it’s probably a line problem. Is the problem worse when it’s raining?

It seems to be everyday problem regardless of weather. I will try replacing the MoCA that sits between the modem and the outside line and see if it helps.
