Frankly, the MacPros are *overpowered* for print design. That's right, I said it. Overpowered.

You'll hardly see any speed gain over the imacs on 99% of design-related tasks. They still have a spot in print production, who have to deal with final art, but on the creative side, the imac is a much better value for art directors and designers.

Video and 3D work is where the Mac Pro really starts to make its money back.

I'm seeing this, too. I still love the ability to set up dual monitors, but after setting my our office on iMacs, I see their appeal.
Even though I'm running a 24" I still miss my older dual monitor setup.
