The 'hostages' tried to negotiate with the pirates and released one of their pirate's crew in an attempt to exchange for the captain, but they scammed them and kept the captain. The Pirate Code is more of a guideline really.

It's a sad situation to be sure, but that line made me smile.

The latest report is that the US Navy is taking over. (I think, I came in on the end of the news.) Here's hoping SEALs get involved, and maybe toss in a little something for those Rangers, as well.
