Have you had any North Koreans ask to "borrow" your clock recently? Some or all of the atomic material inside may have been stolen.
Anybody else's atomic clock wacko?

This concludes this test of the emergency time stealing system (ETSS). In the case of a real emergency you would hear instructions how to send all your money to Washington. Do not attempt to reset your clocks, you will be absorbed.

Your "atomic clock" is simply a normal clock with a receiver that receives a transmission from a radio that provides a signal to synchronize the oscillator in your receiver to the atomic standard at the transmitter site.
You probably just had bad reception and were not getting the synchronization signal. |
