WD Scorpio Black HD vs the Scorpio Blue?
#1
I notice several have recommended the Western Digital Scorpio Blue hard drive for macbooks, but why not the Scorpio Black which has a 5 year warranty instead of 3 years. I see Newegg has the Scorpio Black 320gb for $74.99. It runs at 7200rpm vs 5400 for the blue.... any problem with that?

i might be mistaken but i believe the black is a 3.5" sata drive for externals and desktops while the blue is a 2.5" drive for laptops.

1. I'm not sure the Black is available in 500GB.

2. Price.

3. Tests have shown the Blue beating other brand 7200RPM HDs.

I'm thinking seriously about changing out the 120G in my MacBook.
When y'all decide which is best let me know ;-)
