In and Out is regional in location, but gets a heck of a lot of mention nationally for a non-national chain. The mystique around its "secret" menu and the bible quotes on the cups, etc. probably doesn't hurt in that regard. I have to wonder if that doesn't get them a nice little bit of tourist traffic resulting in some non-native support.

I'm still a bit unsure about the Carl's Jr./Hardee's business. They seem to get lumped in together everywhere I see them referred to. A quick look at their menus shows a lot of the same fare with different names, but a good number of differences too. I may have to impanel a blue ribbon committee to investigate further.

Oh. Are they the Chic-fil-A of hamburgers?
Then they must be a good store.

Yeah, but to their credit, they're in inconspicuous places like on the underside rim of drinking cups in the same small type as things like the the manufacturer's product number, if my memory is right. Not in the least in your face.

Why not a blue or purple ribbon?
