If the new MacBook has a 10 hour battery, I would think the MacBook Air could be bumped to 7 hours. More efficient chips, stock SSD, maybe would equal better battery life. That would be nice.

I am likewise doubtful regarding the viability of iPad with keyboard as new Air. I don't think a primarily touch based OS would translate well to a notebook form factor.

Makes sense. If I wanted an iPad with keyboard I would get a MBAir!
