LOL, Rhonda!

If that was Target they'd send you the book and let you keep the DVDs.

Just think how the guy who ordered the DVDs will feel when he gets your book instead.

Why should a narcissist care about the guy who ordered he DVDs?

I purchased a 6x9 Wacom tablet from an online retailer and received two copies of it from different warehouses. When I contacted them the bottom line that they said was "we don't make mistakes", so I sold the dupe on e-Bay. ( I waited a month and was only billed for one. )

That's quite an expensive mistake they made. Wacom 6x9s are over $300 new. People who say they don't make mistakes are mistaken.

Amazon sent my Mom a beautiful DVD boxed set of "Squidbillies" last Christmas in lieu of the iPod touch I ordered for her.

Fortunately, they rectified the situation once I figured out what the heck happened.

But had I not asked her about it, she would assumed that I MEANT to give her the "Squidbillies" DVD, which would have been wrong on so many levels...

(BTW, they refunded my money, and let her keep the DVDs. I ordered a new iPod via Apple, with engraving.)

Isn't that the God of the Old Testament on the cover?

Knowing a little about your religious views, I'd say yes.

I ordered a psychology book entitled "Malignant Self Love: Narcissism
Revisited" (don't ask...) from Barnes & Noble's website for the first time
in years a couple of days ago after years of being an Amazon purist,
and found the package sitting on my desk at work today, pleased
that it had arrived so promptly. I opened it up, and discovered that
I had received instead a 12-DVD boxed set of "The Rogers & Hammerstein
Collection", featuring "Oklahoma', "Carousel", "The Sound of Music", etc.

Way to go, Barnes & Noble!

Well......am I the only one that is going to ask about your original order "Malignant Self Love: Narcissism Revisited"

You can talk to me...
