thats what i was going to say, but not knowing where you are in the USA makes a difference

both can be pricey, but if you wait for sales they have great deals

all of my office furniture is from SD, most of it 10 years old, and the bookcase shelves still dont sag even with a ton of books on them

Crate and Barrel also has a younger, less expensive brand, CB2. Also try West Elm.

Believe it or not, Big Lots has a couple of very nice bed frames in their standard stock. Price is right, too.
