I can assure you cblet3 the school was not concerned about the flag code. If you could also show me that Mexican flags were also banned on some other occasions because they would offend others, I would go along with your logic. Do you know of any?

I wonder if those freedom-loving students wore those T-shirts on any other day than Cinco de Mayo.
Honestly, some people have to be convinced that respecting others' customs and holidays won't kill them. In fact it can be instructive and fun.

The sad thing is that had they worn the French flag, nobody would have gotten the insult.

Once again, can anyone, Gute perhaps, point me to an example where students were sent home because they wore some other flag?

I always thought it was a violation of flag protocol to make the Flag of the United States
into an article of clothing, and have always been annoyed to see it work so.
Fire the lot. This is the United States of America! Not Mexico. 5 de Mayo is not a recognized
Holiday in the U.S. It's Kwanza with beer. Completely fake. Americans are ticked off and
we are not going to take this stuff anymore. People who never spoke out before are speaking
out now. If the progressives believe we're going to give up and shut up, they are in for a rude
awakening. We are silent no longer. This is AMERICA and school officials like this dope had
better understand that decisions like this one will come with real consequences. When as a
school official you promote a country over the United States of America, there is going to be
blow back. Apologize to those young men and then take a course in American History and
Civics. Evidently, you missed that in college.

Obviously Shakeman is very excited about the new round of Mexican-hating that is sweeping the country.

It's not an Amurcan holiday, ergo it is not a real holiday. It's quite simple, really.
