Costco has been selling the 46" version of that TV for like $1700.

the tv appears to be unable to contain sports action. don't put it in a room with good furniture

Looks like Amazon might not honor the price I got - am waiting to hear from CSR.

Correction: The TC-P46GT25 now has a $600 instant rebate. I'd hate to have bought one a few months ago.
