Who asks for directions when they don't know they are lost?
Woman drives 900 miles out of her way after GPS error...

Not quite 900 miles, but the zero-visibility fog in California's Central Valley can wreak havoc on trying to stay on the proper course. A properly functioning GPS probably helps, but when you can't see past your windshield, bad things happen; all too often with worse results than merely ending up a few countries removed from where your desired plans called for. And when swapping cars that do have a GPS in 'em, check to to see where "home" is before embarking on your quest to get there. :-)

I was distracted, so I kept driving. I saw all kinds of traffic signs, first in French, then German and finally in Croatian, but I kept driving because I was distracted.
Wait, she was "distracted" and thus she drove 900 miles without realizing it? I really think inattentive driving should be grounds for an automatic and permanent revoking a license.

And, she tanked up at least twice for a 90 mile trip. Where's the thread on why you need algrbra?

Forgive me, but I am going to say something chauvinistic but true. I do not know a single woman who can tell me which way is North, South, East, or West, or could find out without a compass (or GPS)...
