rgc, you are correct. I am not 100% with it. I fell asleep twice trying to use it after the initial install. So far I'm finding the windows confusing because they are not as defined as they were before. I also do not understand where all the information at the top of the screen went. The dock seems to be stuck in a mode where it hides itself and I can't seem to make it stick. It is quite possible these are easy fixes and I just need to keep digging.

Mine downloaded in 40 minutes earlier. I ran the installer and it seems to be doing fine.

Everything seems much faster. This is not an OS to make old hardware feel old.
Overall, I really like Yosemite.
But I think I should start a pool to see who's the first to say "It's the worst OS Apple has ever shipped!!!"

Well, I accidentally clicked on the update, so it is downloading now.
I do not see a "stop download" option either.
I guess I can just not install, when it finishes, if I want to wait.
Looks like it was downloading the 10.9.5 update, instead of the 10.10.
I cancelled out and I am now DLing the 10.10
Actually I am going to pause it and do it tomorrow.
