I go with FRAM branded filters. I recall comparing them a while back and FRAM was able to filter more fine particle pollution than the others for about the same price.

floods the air with pollen. When the pines get going it can look like the whole city has been covered in sulfur dust.
And I've found bits of detritus in our cabin air filters as well. Actually glad these aren't going into the vent system. We have one old car where I occasionally pull leaves out through a cabin vent.
