bourbon thoughts

If you can find it, Very Old Barton is very good and very reasonably priced. If I can’t find that, my next choice is Benchmark.

Inexpensive, but to me, mighty tasty.

Thanks, I've been wondering about that. My local store usually has it in stock.

Basil Hayden is my go to bourbon if someone else is paying.

But one of my go to cocktails with Bulleit is the Nor'Easter: Bourbon, a squeeze of lime, a tsp of maple syrup and ginger beer.

OMG, this sounds fabulous...and I still have some of TJ's Triple Ginger Beer from Christmas.

Gave up drinking long ago, but when it was bourbon it was Evan Williams 1783 (86 proof).
Straight sipping, it was 1783 or nothing.

I'm a fan of Evan Williams as well! I drink it with water 1:1 (Uncultured swine!!)
