I've been using an electric transfer pump to fill my mower from five gallon containers. I got it at Harbor Freight for about $8. It needs two d-cells.

Next time you are in Canada or Mexico buy a couple. They don’t have the stupid spout that causes more spillage than I care to describe.

Sometimes great minds think I alike, this is exactly what I bought many years ago. Can't at all tell I have a gas can in the garage. Very pleased with purchase.
This is the gas can I have been using for 2 years. IMO It works much better than the other gas can options.
