It will work as an unaccelerated PCI display card, not much more under OS X. Will do somewhat more under OS 9 if you can find a driver download. I read reports a couple of years ago of software hacks to the Apple driver for the near equivalent OEM card to get it to do more under OS X, but never tried that.

depends on what computer you have too, many older PCI cards won't even work in some G5's, even if they have PCI slots.

Not me, I already have one in my StarMax I run the occasional piece of software that will not run in Classic on.
