Spring is here, and it looks like my garden hose is dysfunctional. it worked okay last summer, but now it's acting strange, and won't reboot. Any advice for what to do when a hose has hardware issues? I think my hose is hosed.

Is it kinky. Are you kinky? If it was stored with a kink then leave it out in the sun to warm up and then try to send water through to regain its shape. If it's developed cracks then there is no point in trying to repair it but I use old hoses for trickle watering in flower and vegetable beds by cutting a few more holes in it and then burying it just below the surface.
If it's this sort of hose
then you are on your own.

When you replace it, buy a Flexogen.

I got a pretty cheap hose. Over the past couple years, the end of it leaks more and more. It doesn't leak between the faucet and the part that screws on, but between that part, and the part that's attached to the hose.
Any idea how to fix?

This hose hasn't been used a lot... but it was a cheap one.
What's a good brand to get?
