I agree. Those who think "pro choice" and "pro abortion" are synonymous are either being deliberately obtuse or are ill informed and should do a bit more reading on the subject.

The gift that keeps on giving.
What's the problem?...Ted King's post has too many words in it for you?
Huh?

You'll notice Karsen doesn't even try anymore.
Once he discovered he couldn't post baseless untruths here without being called on it he realized he would either have to start researching his assertions before stating them, or stop asserting things.
You can see which choice he made.
In regard to this discussion I have yet to see any evidence that you can use these gift certificates towards the cost of an abortion.

i could be not reading deeply enough, but it appears these PP Health Centers do not do the abortions but counsel and refer the patient elsewhere. Perhaps the gift certificate is usuable at the places a woman seeking an abortion is referred to but that's unclear.
Here is an AP story where they say the vouchers could be used for abortions:

The vouchers could be applied to the cost of an abortion. "I certainly don't think anyone would consider giving it for that purpose," spokeswoman Kate Shepherd said.
The organization dispenses more than 500,000 units of birth control each year including pills, condoms, diaphragms, spermacides and morning-after pills, she said.
Indiana Health Commissioner Dr. Judy Monroe applauded the idea, calling it a "really a meaningful gift."
Spokeswoman Diane Quest of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America said the Indiana branch is among a handful of its 99 affiliates that currently offer gift certificates or have done so in the past.

You need to get a life. You really seem to love throwing slanderous and incendiary comments my way regardless of the situation. No one asked for your input on me and it's completely irrelevant to the topic. You don't know me, stop acting like you do.

While reading about this topic, I was reminded about the success of Tyler Perry's films.
You see, with something like Madea's Family Reunion, I don't get it. I don't get the humor, the success, nothing. But that's only because I'm not the target audience. I don't have the background, experience, or knowledge to "get" the movie.
Neither am I a woman who's in such financial straits that she could really appreciate a gift certificate to get basic medical services at Planned Parenthood.
In both cases, if I don't "get" something, or if I think "that sure sounds odd to me!"...it's just my head, not the world, that's of limited experience. Different parts of the world might make complete sense, regardless of my initial, limited, thoughts.

Inform me about this aspect: Bill Clinton once said "Abortion should be safe, legal, and rare." We have the legal part covered, and the safe part, and, thanks to vouchers, we can even make them affordable, but what is being done to make them rare?

You are clearly still fuming about the god/constitution thread and somehow feel justified in lashing out at Lux and I whenever it suits you. And then you cry foul when the shoe is on the other foot.
It gets tiresome, and I reserve the right to poke back now and then.

It's not clear in the article to whom that statement is attributed.
I wrote for clarification but I'll bet they're being bombarded.
