Does the "office of President-Elect" signs logos etc bother you?

the only part that bothers me is the "corporate-y" feeling to it all; I don't really care if he has a sign, but all of the signs appear to be more geared to a product roll-out than a person. I guess that's it, they're "impersonal" - if that is possible for a sign.

Yeah, he needs a warm and fuzzy sign. Maybe put some kittens all around the border.

I think it should be flashing neon. Or, one of those signs you see beside the highway with wheels and interchangeable letters. That way, the change from the current administration wouldn't be so abrupt.

It doesn't bother me because it's a real office, and a real title. He's free to use it.

It's not like before when he used an Obama seal that looked like the Presidential Seal in an effort to to look Presidential. He's better off without gimmicks like that imo.

The thing about that seal was, somewhere a graphic designer was feeling so proud of themselves for coming up with such a clever idea. My heart aches for them.

The seal was clever. I just feel it cheapens the Office of the POTUS. It's like something you'd expect to see on SNL.

Not really. He's probably trying to make sure people understand he's not President yet. Large swaths of the public seem unclear about the election process.

Yes, I saw THOSE people of TV during the election voting and making inane comments which I will not quote less I get accused of trying to start a cyber riot.

I'm not losing sleep over this subject but just think is should not be done.

I find it fascinating that anyone thinks the office could be cheapened any further after the past eight years.

I think that if the only things the righties can criticize are trivial items like the sign and the birth certificate red herring, then they got nuthin'!

As for signs, I hate the ones that Bush almost always has in the background while out doing stump speeches. "Mission Accomplished" was the worst one, but there are plenty of others. They are pure marketing hype, and cheapen the office of the POTUS IMHO. I hope that Obama gets rid of such outright propaganda, but I fear the worst. Here's one:
