mick e misinterpreted the discussion. He's sorry about that.
In the meantime do a Google search for the following phrase:
jindal kenneth "30 rock"
Lots of enjoyable reading will be had.

To me the point was that Jindal is the "new" Republican, the guy with the new ideas, the future of the party, and then he got up and presented the same old song, and in a singsong voice to boot. Bad policy speech delivered badly.
I think it's hard to project "smart" when you have the RNC hanging around your neck like a millstone.
Jindal's not a dork, though, and we will hear from him again.

McCain was the GOP's best hope. A more conservative candidate would have been wiped out in a landslide.

Gutenberg votes on style points.
Jindal had a bad night, so what?
And Chris Matthews sounded like an idiot with his "Oh, God". He tried to tell us what he "really meant" by saying it was a comment on the dark hallway that Jindal emerged from and the curved stairs and chandelier behind him . It was the ante bellum Louisianna governor's mansion for cripes sake. What did expect, Frank Lloyd Wright? What a tool.

The difference is, they were legal. They had done their paper work. His father had a job, paid taxes yadda yadda.
Some™ might wonder if you would feel differently if the hypothetical Mexican mother was also legally in the U.S. pursuing a grad degree as was Piyush's mother?

I would have felt exactly the same. Is there something about the word illegal that liberals don't understand?
