You don't need a lighting expert you need a psychologist. Your level of fear is way overboard.
What do you neighbors think about your illuminating their yard and the inside of their houses? Were my next door neighbor to install one of those I would follow mstudio's suggestion and put out that light, or is that what has already happened?
