do you sign your credit cards?

I used to write 'check for ID'. (or "ask for ID" )


Not too many cashiers ever looked at the back.
I think I stopped when my state went to non SS numbers on drivers license and decided to protect that number instead.
Or maybe when we did have SS on a driver's license and that was an easy identity theft method.
