If you go to:
http://tvnzb.com/index.php
(the top of this page is NSFW - just a warning)
you can search and download the nzb files for the shows episodes you want. You don't have to worry about what newgroup they are coming from.
Then download SABnzbdPlus 0.4.12
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/25236/sabnzbdplus
When you run SAB - it opens a window in your browser with config info that you need to set up. It has tabs at the top - config, history, connection, qued up files, etc.
It sets up an Incomplete and Complete folder in your downloads directory. (can't remember if you have to create them and point it to them)
Once you get it setup, it automates everything. You just search and download the nzb files. SAB takes over and a while later the shows are in your Complete folder.
One setup problem I had was it wanted to use port 8080 and I had a camera system using that port already. So I changed it to port 8081 and it works great.

What newgroup service are you using? I need to find a good and inexpensive one.
