I recently put 3 lenses on eBay and even though I offered international shipping, I found myself annoyed when every winner was overseas.
I didn't check FedEx, but UPS was FAR more expensive than USPS. I had added a handling fee to int'l shipments but even so it didn't seem to cover the extra time to print customs forms and physically go to the PO, rather than just set them outside my door for the postman. France, Poland and Russia. Russia bidder had only 2 feedbacks so I won't be surprised if there's some kind of issue.
FWIW, even though I'm quite aware that much of the Russian Federation is West of the Ural mountain range, I hadn't figured on Russia being allowed when I checked "Europe" as a ship-to region. A cultural paradigm of mine, I guess.
