iPad 30 MB PDF limit question

It's a silly format for a book to be in the first place, considering the more desirable alternatives. I can count on one hand the number of times I've had any use whatsoever for PDFs. I realize my experience may not be representative, but I'm sure there's lots more like me than unlike me.
