Cleaned camping gear all morning...grilled steaks to perfection in the evening, (best steak ever: rub steaks with ground garlic-seasoned sea salt half hour before cooking, let sit at room temp, then rinse the salt off and pat dry, then grill. Juiciest, most tender steak ever, like buttah!)
Watched Seattle fireworks show and concert by Presidents of the USA (they still rock) on TV...Got told by 14 year old that watching fireworks on TV is lame, but we didn't have all day to spend in traffic and crowds, this year, sorry son!
Seattle almost had no show this year because Chase Bank dropped their sponsorship, but local businesses were able to raise the $500K and it was the best show ever, even though we didn't see it live this year.
