Thanks for the info.
The 21.5 is bigger than her Dell laptop so she'll be happy with that.
The Apple Store is offering iwork for 48 bucks with the purchase of a computer, I think she'll use Pages quite comfortably.

Maybe I'll but her some rechargables for the mouse. I didn't know it used AAs.
