I think Apple would have to kill Steve Jobs [shudder] before they license their `anything` to `anybody.`
They would sell "low margin" TVs because they want iTunes rental revenue. Of course, being Apple, they would not really sell the low-end stuff.
They would love to be the pre-eminent first-run movie rental company, a field that is soon to be wide-open upon the death or serious decline of physical media stores.
But I really think the discussion is now moot because the new AppleTV is so damn small and cheap.
